REVIEW

Christmas Miracle on Oyster Bay by Denise Stout

Right from the start this story got my attention because the setting is located in Southern Maryland (where I live), the female main character owns a bookstore (my dream), and her name is Lissa (I’m a Lisa). Off to a great start and does not disappoint. I really liked the way the unexpected relationship, attraction, and romance developed. Not too slow, not too fast. This is a sweet, warm, and romantic read. The perfect length to read for a break in holiday decorating. A nice updated Pride and Prejudice romance.

NOTE:  So far I have only read Christmas Miracle on Oyster Bay from this anthology. I will update review as I read more stories.

About Denise Stout

Denise Stout dreamed about writing from a very early age, guided along the way by some special teachers who took interest in her writing and encouraged her to pursue her words in print. She loves to write stories about strong women who strive for the best in life, sometimes faltering, but who always have the fortitude to pick themselves back up again while finding love along the way.

A frequent contributor to FindSubscriptionBoxes.com, she also reviews books, movies, and products. She earned her Bachelor of Arts from the University of Delaware. When not driving carpools, watching her boys play sports from the sidelines, volunteering or other activities, she loves to read. And write. Or watch Jane Austen adaptations. Denise lives in the Baltimore area with her husband and three sons.

      1. This was my debut.

I have two more which are out of print because the publisher (different publisher) went out of business. Currently revising a full-length novel in hope of publication.
