Weston and Rockingham Stores of The Vermont Country Store

I love the Vermont Country Store catalog, ordered many times from it. So, I was excited when Marie Force came out with a series based on the family that owns and operates it. I read and loved All You Need Is Love and when she announced she was doing a Book Launch at the store in Vermont, I grabbed my Sister-in-Law and off on a road trip we went. We hit a few places mentioned in the book and of course talked with Marie and had books signed. Marie had a signing at both locations (Weston and Rockingham, VT) I caught up with Marie in Weston, but I also paid a visit to the Rockingham store.

We stayed in a cute little B&B in Weston called Colonial House Inn & Motel. The Inn is very charming and had reasonable rates. The breakfast there was delicious!

At the Rockingham location, there is a Kissing Bridge (Victorian Village Bridge – 1872) and a Grist Mill

We couldn’t find Colton on the mountain, so we tried at the Maple Museum.
