The unexpected kiss that ignites a 10 year attraction

The attraction between Addison and Hayden has been simmering for the past 10 years. The unexpected kiss Hayden gives her when he wins the Oscar for Best Director, has Addie determined to pursue him. Hayden has fought his attraction to Addie, she’s his best friend and business partner’s super-efficient assistant. Hayden doesn’t do relationships, feelings, or romance. He also lives a super-secret life and is unwilling to bring Addie into it. Once she finds out about it, Addie is just as determined to be prove to him that she can handle it and wants to be introduced to that lifestyle even if it means going elsewhere to be trained.

This is the 4^th book in the Quantum Series and I feel they should be read in order for the backstory. The writing is done in first person point of view and is smoothly done between the characters. Hayden was not a favorite character of mine in the previous books, but Marie has a track record of making us change our minds about some of her characters. I loved how Hayden fought against his feelings and the conflict he felt. I loved how feisty Addie was portrayed and how determined she was to get what she wanted. I love how the characters live this secret lifestyle parallel to leading their famous lives.
