When Francie learns of Tanner’s need for child care, she impulsively offers to watch his half-sister for the summer in return for some landscaping and renovations around the house.

It seems like a win-win, but Francie didn’t bargain on falling in love.

The hero comes out of a rough childhood and is still dealing with trust issues. The heroine is trying to step out of her mother’s dominating ways and be her own woman. The couple knew each other from high school and are reconnecting. They both have changed yet still have some growing to do. I really enjoyed their story as they are breaking free of the comfort zone. Realistic characters and storyline, something that Kaylie Newell is very good at. This is the first book of the Harlow series, but the last one I read. Each book is wonderful.
