Book review of Charming by Jennifer Miller
A Modern Day Sexy Cinderella Story
Charming by Jennifer Miller is indeed a modern day sexy Cinderella story. I absolutely loved this book. You have your sexy, too good to be true Prince Charming (who’s a famous actor), Cinderella (CEO of her own marketing firm), Fairy Godmother (a great listener on an airplane); the stepmother and stepsister from hell; a pink flip flop (aka glass slipper), and of course an “And They Lived Happily Ever After” ending.
This story has the full range of emotions ranging from sadness to hysterical moments. The characters are well developed and there’s great banter between them. Jennifer Miller wrote the setting so you felt you were in Cabo and I really wish I was there with Ella and her bestie. Our heroine is strong and stands up for herself. Our hero is a famous actor who is down to earth, considerate, fun, intriguing, and as his name states, is charming. This was truly a magical story that will have you believing in love at first sight. A fun read! I’ve got to get a signed copy because this is going on my keeper shelf for a reread!

But sometimes fate, or fairy godmothers, step in, and things change.
For one week, I found love in a man I never saw coming.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
Author Jennifer Miller was born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, but now calls Arizona home. Jennifer’s love of reading began when she was a small child, and only continued to grow as she entered adulthood. Ever since winning a writing contest at the young age of nine, when she wrote a book about a girl with a pet unicorn, she’s dreamed of writing a book of her own. Quickly learning that dreams don’t just fall into your lap, she knew she had to chase them herself and not be afraid to dream a little bigger. Most importantly, she is a wife and mother, and is very lucky to have a family that loves and supports her in all things. She also has an unhealthy addiction to handbags and chocolate covered strawberries, neither of which she cares to change.
