REVIEW

Very well written biography of George Washington. An account of his life as well as how he helped create the United States into the country it is today. I really liked that it included his entire (his childhood, wars, presidency, Mt. Vernon, the constitution and more). A lot of information but easy to understand. Nicely illustrated. This beginner reader offers a Glossary, timelines throughout the book, Think About prompts, Myth vs Facts boxes, and an end of book quiz. I learned quite a lot from it.
