This is an ideal gardening book for me. I’ve been wanting to try the raised bed garden since my gardening has not been productive the last few years. The book is full of details on how to get that started, from planning, building, and helpful tips. Very helpful was the companion planting, chart crop rotation, and the supply list to build a 4×4 garden bed. The last chapter list profiles for many beginner-friendly plants which I feel is a wonderful companion for all gardeners. I picked a few that I hadn’t thought of trying before. After reading this book I feel I’m prepared for next Springs gardening season. My journal is full of ideas and supplies needed.
