Only, apparently, he’s not, because Roman explains that he’s to pick her up for a surprise dinner date with Aiden.
Roman makes his first mistake in assuming that an engaged couple would be dining together on a date. When he and Zoe learn Aiden intends for a different woman to be his Valentine, Roman refuses to make another mistake and let Zoe go without confessing his love first.

A quick read which was just what I was looking for. I liked the characters right away and I just knew they belonged together even though Zoe was engaged to someone else. Even though it’s a short read, I was still able to get a connection with the characters. They had an unlikely friendship with mutual admiration. There’s a sizzling hot sex scene as these two finally are free to act on their repressed desires. I won’t give any spoilers but I loved Roman’s other job and the subject that it was based on. Between the lines it pretty much spelled out his love for her. I enjoyed this Valentine’s read and its storyline. This was the first book I’ve read by Amabel Daniels and will check out more of her books.
