Lady Ella Fletcher doesn’t dare to dream of the handsome and dashing Duke of Sheridan. A man like him is for a woman who has hope, a chance at happiness. Her step mother and step sisters would never allow her to have such a future.

Bradford Seymour is taken with Lady Ella the moment he lays eyes on her but something is amiss. Trapped in a country inn during a storm, he can’t help but notice that she is in trouble. The question is, how to help her? Though he has the responsibility of an entire dukedom, what good is that if he can’t aid the one person his heart desires?

REVIEW

A wonderful historical retelling of Cinderella

Well done Cinderella retelling set in the Victorian era. A short read but very much a complete story, there’s nothing lacking. A very sweet and enjoyable read.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR Tammy Andresen

Tammy Andresen lives with her husband and three children just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. She grew up on the Seacoast of Maine, where she spent countless days dreaming up stories in blueberry fields and among the scrub pines that line the coast. Her mother loved to spin a yarn and Tammy filled many hours listening to her mother retell the classics. It was inevitable that at the age of 18, she headed off to Simmons College, where she studied English literature and education. She never left Massachusetts but some of her heart still resides in Maine and her family visits often.
