God’s word is woven within this second chance love story. Set during the Christmas holiday, there is healing and reconciliation. The characters pray, listen to God, and are on their way back to their HEA. The author states there will be a continuation story. This is not a cliff hanger and you have a complete story. The lead male character has matured and admits his failures in their marriage. I wasn’t so taken with the lead female character who continues to hold her ex-husbands mistakes against him and has difficulty admitting the fault in herself. That aside, this is a very well written family romance that has you rooting for the couple.

I read this as part of the Sweet Christmas Kisses 3 Collection. It is now available as a single title. I’ve also read that there is a sequel, Prayers Answered, coming December 2017.
