Katilin must find out who the killer is, before the killer finds out who Kaitlin is. A long buried need for justice brings her back to Chance, a small town with big secrets. Returning to Chance as an adult, with a different name, she is determined to find the person responsible for the murder of her mother and bring them to justice. Even if that person is the father of the chief of police, Cole Randall. Cole Randall is a man so good and so enticing that Kaitlin is drawn to him in an ever more complicated relationship. Despite the fact that she knows he will surely hate her when he realizes how much damage she can bring to his family, she can’t deny the feelings he inspires in her, the need to connect, the need to be close with this man. Once the truth comes out about who Kaitlin really is, Cole, as police chief, and son of the man Kaitlin believes murdered her mother, is wrenched by the dual roles he plays. As Cole and Kaitlin spiral closer and closer, danger tightens around Kaitlin. Someone with a lot to lose wants her dead. A small town mystery, with a sexy romance, set in South Georiga involving cops, murder and a woman determined to prove what happened so many years ago. Action packed.

Small town secrets, speculations, and deceptions

Good plot twist.  Went thru a few suspects on this one.  The person was one I had not considered til near the end.
