REVIEW:

Sweet historical romance set in the late 1800’s in small town of Sweetwater Springs. Two young people facing some struggles but just want to start a new life in this small town. They have a chance meeting and have instant attraction to each other. This is the third book I’ve read of Ms. Torres. (she’s had 4 novellas released in 2016) As with her other novella’s, they read as a complete story with likeable characters and enjoyable storyline. I have not read the Montana Sky series yet but have read two of Torres’s contributions. It reminds me so much of the Little House on the Prairie series (one of my all-time favs) with the settings and era. The storeowner, Mrs. Cobbs is just as unpleasant, if not more, than Mrs. Olsen of Little House. A very enjoyable read-loved the writing, characters, setting, and storyline.
