MY REVIEW:

The Kampala Peppermint Twist setting is in Africa and I didn’t for one minute miss the traditional holiday descriptions of cold and snow (which is my usual requirement for a Christmas story). The spirit of Christmas came through the writing. The descriptions really came alive on the pages and the author wrote a captivating story with a lot of heart. The story is told mostly through Annie’s POV but the male character, Raj, is intriguing to me. Along with the Annie, I also made a snap judgement of him. My opinion of him quickly changed though. One thing that threw me off and has left me baffled is that he was rude and demanding when we first meet him at the airport. This flaw just doesn’t fit with the character we come to know in Africa. Both lead characters had great chemistry and I enjoyed the story. I’ve discovered a new author whose books I’m anxious to explore.

*NOTE: This novella is also published in Sweet Christmas Kisses 3 boxset.

BLURB:

A twist of fate and Annie’s unexpectedly on her way to Africa for Christmas. Next to her on the plane, a man in a tuxedo. What kind of guy flies in a tux? Annie’s about to find out—and discover things about herself that will flip her world upside down. A delightful, heartwarming Christmas novella
