Montana Cowboy Bride by Jane Porter

Western Romance/Contemporary Romance
Briar Phillips was thrilled to finally find her half-brother but it’s been far from smooth sailing. Single and pregnant—and hiding her pregnancy—Briar retreats to the Sundowner Ranch to figure out her next steps but isn’t greeted with open arms. Older brother Cade Hunt assigns her to the kitchen and warns every ranch hand to stay away from her. But Briar rebuffs his controlling ways and finds herself drawn to Jet Manning—rugged, tough, and ten years her senior.
Former navy fighter pilot Jet Manning sacrificed everything to avenge his mother’s death. His reputation, his career, and any hope for a relationship. But when Briar reveals her secret, he’s compelled to help her even though Cade has made it clear that Briar is off-limits.
As Briar and Jet break down each other’s walls, Cade’s stays intact. The Sundowner Ranch might be the biggest in Wyoming, but it’s too small for all of them. One of them has to go…but at what cost?

REVIEW
Another wonderful story from Jane Porter. Briar is young, feisty, independent, and a bit of a hothead. Jet is the perfect balance for her and having had his own second chance is very supportive of Briar. They had a rough start together but couldn’t deny the chemistry. His complete support and wonderful advice to her won me over. A wonderful cast of secondary characters, the best of all Miss Warner who I think found a bit of herself in Briar. Engaging storyline and well developed characters. Part of a series, but is a stand alone read.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
I write both romance and women’s fiction, and I write in both genres because the stories matter, because women matter and families matter, and love matters very, very much. I love the very strong heroes because I grew up with some really strong women in my family. Even today, it has continued to surprise me that men sometimes are a bit baffled that I want to be so successful, that I have ambition, that I’m willing to work this hard.
