The latest book in the Silver Springs series merges with Novak’s Whiskey Creek. It can be read as a standalone novel. This book focuses on Mack and Natasha. There is such a strong connection between the two which comes across the pages. Enjoyed reading and seeing how the characters overcame the barriers that were keeping them apart as their history is complicated. One thing I found odd was that Natasha was such a pushover for her ex and his family. I didn’t think it fit as a person who built a career of a pediatrician and once owned her own practice. I guess it possible she’s confident in her professional life and no quite so in her personal life. I liked Mack having her back and Natasha’s character had growth. The writing is wonderful and I enjoyed the story.
Bonus short story at the back of book. It’s centered around Victorian Day seven years prior. Don’t miss it!
