I’ll Stand By You by Karen Grey
Carolina Classics Prequel novella

Friendship/1990s Beach Town
Can five friends grow up without growing apart?
Summer, 1991: Working at a beachfront hotel in their sleepy southern coastal town gives life-long friends Violet, Danielle, Whitney, Ford and Sully the chance to spend as much time as possible together after college graduation and before real life begins.
One exceptionally busy and very long night—which includes a wedding, a lost dog, hatching sea turtles and a job offer—has each of them facing hopes and fears for the future. Wrestling with choices means loyalties are tested while alliances shift.
Don’t miss this combo sequel to Grey’s Boston Classics series and prequel to her new Carolina Classics series. It’ll take you from the neon, big-haired, shoulder-pads of the 1980’s into the boho, laidback 1990’s.
FROM THE AUTHOR:
This novella is not a romance.
It is about love, but the characters you meet won’t get a Happily Ever After (or even a Happy For Now) in this story.
This story is about Friendship.
A fun and clever way to end an existing series and introduce a new series serving as both an epilogue for the Boston Classics series and prequel to the new Carolina Classics series.
We get a glimpse into Henry and Bella’s wedding reception which includes the Boston Classic series characters. We are also introduced to the Carolina Classics characters as the five lifelong friends spend the summer working together at a beach hotel as they prepare for life after college.
This is a quick read, again it’s an introduction to the authors new series. Well written, interesting characters, and the two series are wonderfully woven together.
