Looking For A Cowboy is a well written, fast-paced, and wonderful addition to the Heart of Texas series. A suspenseful read with a bit of romance. Well-developed and likeable characters. A tough subject matter but it adds to the intensity of the plot and makes the character who she is. Multiple layers which keeps your attention. Woven throughout is a good mix of investigation, romance, and dedication of family, and friends.

Note:  This can be read completely as a stand-alone read and you will not be lost with not having read the prior books in the series (but if you like western romances, I recommend all of them).
