MY REVIEW:

Sex Machine is the long awaited standalone from Marie Force. I was thrilled when I heard that a standalone from her was coming out. I’m addicted to ALL her series but had been craving a standalone from her. From the book blurb, I knew it was going to be a hot, full of sex, “dirty” book.  I started reading it, got the impression that, yes, it’s going to be full of sex and wondering if I’m going to be disappointed because I had my heart set on her standalone being along the lines of her earlier ones (i.e. Georgia On My Mind, Line of Scrimmage, Everyone Loves a Hero, etc). Got to say, Marie Force DID NOT let me down. Yes, the story was centered around full blown (ha) hot sex between the two characters, but there’s also a story with all the emotions and feelings that I expect from Marie Force. The story opens with six little words from Honey Carmichael that brought Blake Dempsey back to life.  Marie Force takes us on their emotional ride. LOVED IT!

For mature audiences.

BLURB:

Marie’s first standalone title in five years!

He’s good for one thing and one thing only—and she wants it bad.

Honey Carmichael has never had a decent orgasm, and she’s out to change that with the one man in town known for his superior skill between the sheets.

Blake Dempsey is happy to help Honey with her “problem” as long as she knows he’s only interested in sex. His heart was broken when his high school girlfriend was killed in the car he was driving, and he has nothing to offer other than more orgasms than Honey can handle.

Which is just fine with her—until fantastic orgasms aren’t enough anymore for either of them and unexpected feelings turn hot sex into messy entanglement—and that most definitely wasn’t in the plans.

But you know what they say about plans…

A sexy, dirty standalone romance intended for MATURE audiences. If you can’t take the heat in Blake’s bedroom, stay out or you might get burned. You’ve been warned!

“No one has ever kissed me the way Blake does, and I was a fool to think one night would be enough for either of us.”

“All this time…Blake Dempsey has been right here, able to unleash a side of me I’d never known existed, the side that wants him to do all the things he mentioned and everything else he can think of. I want it all.”
