A snow storm, a sick dog, a pregnant dog sitter, and a passing through soldier
The writing is excellent. The story is layered and emotional. I fell in love with the characters. This is a stand-alone story but characters from previous books in the series make appearances. The two main characters are perfect for each other. I was glad to see Savannah find herself and have her HEA (we met her in Book 2 and she was a bit of a mess). Finn is so patient, a problem solver, and a steady presence. He is exactly what Savannah needs. Jane Porter’s writing is at her finest! Highly recommend.
