Tule Publishing (October 23, 2017)

Holiday Romance/Small Town

Stranded at Christmas with nowhere to go, Emma Cramer never expected to become someone’s Christmas angel—or to fall for the one man she can’t have.

When Emma’s truck breaks down in small-town Texas, rescuing a trapped child and puppy changes everything. The grateful grandmother offers her a temporary job and place to stay through the holidays. It seems like a Christmas miracle—until Emma meets Sheriff Cole Drayson.

Cole is a single father, devoted lawman, and the last man Emma should want. She’s leaving for the big city after Christmas. He’s rooted in this small town forever. But when sparks fly under the mistletoe, both their carefully planned futures start to crumble.

Can unsuspecting hearts intersect at the moment when love and trust is needed most? Anything is possible with the magic of the Christmas season and faith in the Christmas angels.

REVIEW

I have been meaning to read this for a few years now, and so glad I finally pulled it up on my kindle. It’s a  sweet romance set at Christmas time. I enjoyed the story and characters. I liked how the magic of Christmas is in play for a single dad, his little girl, a lost puppy, and a stranded woman passing through on her way to a new beginning.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Born and raised in the Lone Star state of Texas, Debra grew up among horses, cowboys, wide open spaces, and real Texas Rangers.  Pride in her state and ancestry knows no bounds and it is these heroes and heroines she loves to write about the most.  She also draws upon a variety of life experiences including working with abused children, caring for baby animals at a major zoo, and planning high-end weddings (ah, romance!).

Debra’s real pride and joys, however, are her son, an aspiring film actor, and a daughter with aspirations to join the Federal Bureau of Investigation. (more story ideas!)  When she isn’t busy writing about tall Texans and feisty heroines, she can be found cheering on her Texas Tech Red Raiders, or heading off on another cruise adventure.  She read her first romance…Janet Dailey’s Fiesta San Antonio, over thirty years ago and became hooked on the genre. Writing contemporary western romances,  is both her passion and dream come true, and she hopes her books will bring smiles…and sighs…to all who believe in happily-ever-after’s.
