BIO:

Maria (Zeinab) is a Nubian writer and screenwriter whose work explores identity, cultural displacement, and belonging, shaped by her heritage and the stories passed down from her father after the 1964 Nubian resettlement. Raised between the Middle East and Europe, she brings a global perspective to her storytelling and is currently developing her semi-finalist screenplay My Land, My Nile while working as a producer for major international events company.
