Grabbed this book as I had just discovered Book 1 of the series, Not Fit for a King and wanted to read Emmeline’s story. I did enjoy Hannah’s story a bit more, but His Majesty’s Mistake is a good read. Loved the hero Makin, went back and forth on Emmeline. Wonderful descriptive writing as usual for Jane Porter. Perfect quick, fun, romantic read.
