A wonderful love story as only Jane Porter can weave with likeable characters, vivid described setting, and an intriguing plot. This was the perfect quick, fun, romantic read to escape in. I loved the surprise ending! Now I must read book 2 in the series. An oldie but a goodie! Reads current though it was written 12 years ago! Highly recommend.
