You can go home again…

After a painful divorce from her high school sweetheart, triplet Jenny Weaver returns to River’s Edge with her young son. While happy to be reunited with her sisters and working at the family’s marina, she has no intention of jumping into the dating pool, especially going into the holidays. Then Gabe Dawson, once a shy nerd who tutored her in history classes, arrives home transformed into a handsome hunk who makes her pulse race.

Archeologist and history professor Gabe Dawson thought he’d long ago outgrown his teen crush on Jenny. Back in town for a few months to help his mom post surgery, he can’t resist reaching out to Jenny. She’s as beautiful, warm, and funny as he remembered and soon Gabe is reconsidering his future.

Gabe is determined to seize this second chance, but can he convince a very wary Jenny that a globe-trotter is ready to come home for good this Christmas?

REVIEW

The third and final book in the Weaver Sister series centers around Jenny, her ex-husband Ryan, and school friend Gabe. A bit of a love triangle though Jenny has moved on from her ex.  It’s a story of family, friends, finding yourself, and romance. Jenny found her true calling, stands firm in her beliefs, and has the support of her sisters. Gabe is perfect for her and is great for her son Luke. He is also respectful that there’s a father in the picture too. Woven in the story is all the goodness of River’s Edge in Christmas glory. Throughout this series as well as the previous two series (Four Irish Brothers and The Lange Brothers) the author has captured the charm of the small town as well the varied characters. Characters from the previous books make appearances and it’s like catching up with friends. (If you have not read them, you will not be lost – though I recommend all the books-they’re wonderful!) I’m looking forward to the start of her newest series; The Walkers of River’s Edge. I highly recommend this novel as well as all of Nan’s books.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

nan reinhardtNan Reinhardt has been a copy editor and proofreader for over twenty-five years, and currently works mainly on fiction titles for a variety of clients, including Avon Books, St. Martin’s Press, Kensington Books, Tule Publishing, and Entangled Publishing, as well as for many indie authors.

Author Nan writes romantic fiction for women in their prime. Yeah, women still fall in love and have sex, even after they turn forty-five! Imagine! She is also a wife, a mom, a mother-in-law, and a grandmother. She’s been an antiques dealer, a bank teller, a stay-at-home mom, and a secretary.

She loves her career as a freelance editor, but writing is Nan’s first and most enduring passion. She can’t remember a time in her life when she wasn’t writing—she wrote her first romance novel at the age of ten, a love story between the most sophisticated person she knew at the time, her older sister (who was in high school and had a driver’s license!), and a member of Herman’s Hermits. If you remember who they are, you are Nan’s audience! She’s still writing romance, but now from the viewpoint of a wiser, slightly rumpled, post-menopausal woman who believes that love never ages, women only grow more interesting, and everybody needs a little sexy romance.
