THE GIRL ON THE TRAIN – PAULA HAWKINS
I kept hearing about this book. It sat on my Kindle for quite a while. I was determined I was going to read it to start off the New Year. The beginning had me wondering what everyone was raving about. Honestly, the story didn’t get going for me until halfway thru and then I really started enjoying it. Hawkins does a good job of describing the debilitating effects of emotional manipulation through the character Rachel. This is a multilayered psychological suspense with three separate & well defined female narrators. The Girl on the Train shines with its mystery resolved by a plot twist that works and I totally did not see coming.
This book was hard to finish, I made it to page 5 and then took a few months off. Once I found out they were making a movie I started it up again, and I loved it! I reviewed some similar books on my blog too! Xoxo

Also, if you liked Harry Potter, a good author is Tarryn Fisher. She doesn’t write stories similar to Harry Potter, however she’s a great author who is obsessed with HP and references those books a lot in her books. She’s awesome! Read F*uck Love first, it’s her newest one. Let me know what you think! Hope all this helps 🙂
